I hate germs!!!

For the last week I have been fighting off a cold. It got me. One of the guys I work with had it last week and I really tried to stay away from him. I washed my hands, didn't touch my face and used at least a gallon of antibacterial hand sanitizer. However said guy wanders all over the office and uses my copier, so I guess it was inevitable. I was sent home from work today because I looked so terrible. I was ok in the morning, but then I had a sneezing fit that wouldn't stop. The middle of my face was/is bright red and my eyes were almost swollen shut, not really what you want to see at the front desk of a doctors office! I am so glad that I have this now and not in 42 days! When I got home Jason got me a glass of water, tissues, cough drops, the remote and tucked me into bed. Isn't he sweet and wonderful! Thank-you Baby!

Watch Out Boston

Yesterday we drove down to Boston with our friends Luke and Angela to meet up with Christine and Arron at the museum of Science. The ride down was a blast, we talked, joked and sang along to cheesy songs on the radio. When we got to the museum we found that the parking garage was full and we had to park over on Cambridge Street in the mall parking garage. Now don't get me wrong the museum was ok, but I much prefer the historical and artistic side of Boston. Oh, and I love the shopping! We spent about 3 hours at the museum and then went back to the mall. We decided to go to the Cheesecake Factory for dinner. I had never been there and I wish that we had one in Maine. The food was amazing and dessert was even better. I had the Godiva chocolate cheesecake, it was heavenly! We all had a few drinks with dinner and then we went with Christine to get her ears pierced. Angie, Christine and I spent almost a half an hour in the ALDO accessories store. They had shoes, sunglasses, jewelry, and lots of purses. I could have bought sooo much in there, but I was good and only spent about $30. The guys all went to Brookstone and we found them sitting in vibrating chairs with their feet in massagers. They looked very comfortable and really didn't want to let us try the massaging goodness!

Then we went over to Men's Warehouse to look at tuxes. The salesmen were extremely helpful and really liked us, they kept asking if they could be invited to the wedding! The guys tried on 1 shoe, a vest and according to Luke, a very smelly, yellow armpit tuxedo shirt. The shirts all were marked TRY ON and apparently they never get washed. Luke modeled for us and was quite fashionable with his white sports socks and shiny black dress shoe. Poor Jason, he thought he would be able to pick out his whole outfit, but the color vest he picked out online was too bright blue and we had to keep looking. We found a swatch that is the perfect color, but much to Jason's chagrin has a flower print. On the 2" x 2" swatch the flowers are very apparent, but they really look nice on the actual vest and are really just outlines in black. Jason picked out a golden color that looks really nice with his coloring and I chose a lighter blue for the dads. They both have blue eyes and I thought the traditional black would be too dark, I love the colors. I didn't really think picking out the tuxes would take that long, but we shut down the mall. The lights were dimmed and we left with the employees! It was about 10pm when we left Boston and the car ride back was just as fun as the ride down. The only difference was that we had all eaten a huge meal and I'll just say the windows had to be opened several times!
