First Haircut

I was looking at Alex in the rearview mirror on Friday and realized it was time for his first haircut. I had really been putting it off, I knew that it would make him look so much older. But, he had a clump of hair stuck between his eyes that hung down past the bridge of his nose. The hair over his ears and in the back was too long and curling up, don't get me wrong, I love the curls, but it was time. I made an appointment for him and we went Saturday afternoon.Alex did really well with the haircut, he didn't cry or scream, but he wouldn't sit in the chair by himself or wear the cape, so I did both! I had hoped to have a little more cut off than we did, but he was very squirmy. He really wanted to see what the stylist was doing. She did his bangs, over his ears and straight across the back.
