Back to Reality: Part 1

WARNING: REALLY LONG POST
The whirlwind of the wedding is over and we are back from our honeymoon, now we must return to the real world. It is hard. We had such a great time at the wedding and reception and then in Las Vegas, our normal lives are kind of dull! I really miss the housekeeping people at the hotel. I loved coming back to the room at the end of the day and having everything tidied up, the bed made and fresh towels in the bathroom. We brought back the "Please Clean the Room" sign in hopes that housekeeping would follow, but so far they haven't shown up. ; ) Here are the highlights everything we've done in the last 3 weeks.

Easter weekend we went to see a Red Sox game. I had never been before and I was really surprised at how small the park was. I was expecting that we wouldn't be able to see from our seats in the 41st row, but we had a great view! The game was a lot of fun, but the Sox lost.

I don't have any pictures of the wedding of my own yet, but they are posted online at www.digiproofs.com the password is bj422 for anyone who didn't get a card the photographer handed out. If anyone is interested, you can order any of them right on the website. One of my favorites is of my brother, Brian, with Grandma Kennedy on one side and Grandma Theriault on the other. Too cute!

Jason posted pictures of the fabulous Mustang we had and some pictures from the plane, so I won't go there. These are some pics of beautiful downtown Las Vegas.

Some of my favorite pictures of the strip are at night.

Why the McDonald's sign? It's cool and you don't see that in Maine.

I also loved the palm trees! These are pictures of our room at the Luxor and the awesome whirlpool tub that we used every day we were there. Monday and Tuesday we used it twice!

On Tuesday we went to Hoover Dam, it was only a 30 minute drive from the hotel. It was very interesting and such an amazing, beautiful, wondrous place.

That was all just Monday and Tuesday! Continued tomorrow...
