Spring is in the air, almost

I am loving the warmer temperatures. I think mother nature is teasing me, giving up a few days here and there of 50* and then thrusting us back into the reality of winter. I am getting very anxious for April. People keep telling me to calm down, you have things under control, it's going to be fine, but, I love to worry and stress about the small details. Luckily, Jason is very understanding and made me set up a couple of massage appointments for the weeks leading up to the big day. I have had the first appointment and ooohhh it was great! There are only 57 days before the wedding and I have been ferverishly researching flowers, songs and garters. I have lists upon lists waiting for things to be checked off and for deliveries to come in. I think we have remembered everything, but it seems like every day one of us thinks of something else that we need. Thankfully though we finally have a DJ, nothing like waiting till the last minute! We met with "Sparky" last week and really liked him. I had a big list of songs with me and he actually owns every cd that I mentioned! We were surprised that he has cds, we thought he would be using mp3s, but apparently to do it legally, you have to pay dues every year to 2 or 3 different companies so the artists will get their royalties. He said the fines are really big of you get caught and he'd rather play it safe.
My aunt Nancy went to go see my mom for 2 weeks in New Zealand, so lucky. She left Maine on Monday and didn't get there until our Weds. One flight was delayed and she missed another because of it. It was already Thurs. for them, but she'll make up the day she lost on the way back. My mom is there for another month and I can't wait for her to get home. My phone bill is getting big! It sounds like they are having a fabulous time and getting very tanned. I can't wait to show her all the wedding stuff I have done. I've sent e-mails with pictures, but I want to show her the real thing. I have had a pseudo mommy fix though, my mom and aunt are identical twins and they sound exactly the same. Nancy stopped by the office a couple of weeks ago and I told her I needed a hug. She obliged and I told her it was almost like the real thing, just a little taller! Nancy joked yes, and not as bony! I can't wait for the real thing! I miss her!
