The days are flying by and I can't believe that we are getting married in less than 2 months! We have a florist! We have been checking things off the never ending list of things to do left and right. Last night we went over to the Hilton to meet with Amanda, who is fabulous and so helpful, to make the final choices on food, hors duerves and drinks. We went over every detail of the reception and I can't believe all the choices that we had to make. They are sooo thorough.
We finally got to see the bridal suite! Every time we had gone it had been booked, but boy was it worth the wait! It is a beautiful room, one wall is windows that overlook the falls, so pretty. It has a kitchenette and big bathroom, couch and big screen tv. The bed is awesome, a tall four poster, it almost looks regal! I can't wait to spend the night there!
The next stop last night was at the church. We had to meet with the priest to go over our choices of readings for the ceremony. We were both nervous to go because we haven't been to church in a while. When I called to make the appointment the priest mentioned how it had been quite some time since he had seen us. Gulp. We were afraid he would tell us he couldn't marry us because we hadn't been. Luckily, he never mentioned it while we were there and the meeting went very well. We like to worry! Now the only big thing left for us to do is send out the invitations. They are almost ready , we just need a few more addresses. I will feel so much better when they finally go out!
