Time for the summer do

We decided that it was time for Gizmo to get a major make over. He was getting increasingly matted and oh so furry. Since we haven't been diligent about brushing him, he hates it and just tries to bite us when we do try. Jason called the First Mate Dog Groomers, they just opened up down the street, and made an appointment. The boys stopped by my office before the big cut and Gizmo burst in full of confidence and happy to see everyone. When they returned a couple of hours later, our furry boy was clinging to Jason and seemed very embarrassed. When he saw me, he crawled right into my arms and buried his head into my shoulder as if to say, "Mumma, look what they did to me! All of my naughty bits are showing!" You could almost see him blushing. He has since gotten used to the short hair and is back to his obnoxious, adorable self.
